Hey y’all! I’m back with a book tag, how exciting. Today’s spoiler-free book tag is based on one of my favorite books by Jason Reynolds: Long Way Down. I’m creating this tag as part of the Hear Our Voices book tour for the graphic novel adaptation that’s being released on October 13th.
The first book tag I ever made was The Ungodly Hour book tag a couple of months ago, so I decided to try my hand at making a new tag in honor of this lovely creation.

Top 5 Tuesday was originally created by Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm. She has now passed the baton to Meeghan @ Meeghan Reads. This month is alphabetical so it’ll definitely be easier to schedule ahead for me. (I say this while working on this post the night before.)
So far, I’m going off of author names, but that will probably change as the weeks go on. These are all authors who I either love, or who’s stories really made me think.
Continue reading “Top 5 Tuesday – A to E”Hey y’all! My classes started this week and it’s been… an adjustment. Most of my classes are synchronous, which means we’ll be meeting weekly on Zoom. It’s so weird but I’m happy my school is taking things semi-seriously. I wouldn’t have felt comfortable driving to campus and being around so many people, even though I really miss being around people.
