Camila the Record Breaking Star (Book Review)

Hey y’all! I’m back with another review. Children’s books will forever and always hold a special place in my heart and I’m so thankful for the representation that this next generation is seeing in their books.

I received a digital ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Netgalley Synopsis

After reading about kid record-breakers, Camila dreams of breaking a record of her own. But which world record should she tackle? No matter what she tries, Camila finds that breaking records is hard. Will she ever become a record-breaking star?

My Thoughts

Camila the Record Breaking Star is a children’s book by an own voices author and illustrator. The story was so cute and the modern technology was expertly interlaced into the story. I really enjoyed reading it and I wish there were more books like this when I first started reading. The illustrations were beautiful and I just loved this story.

This is the perfect book for stocking classrooms, children’s rooms, and local libraries.

5/5 Stars

This story, along with Camila’s other adventures, is expected to be published on January 1st, 2021.

How old were you when you first start reading?
