WWW Wednesday (#4)

WWW Wednesday is a meme that was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived by Sam of Taking on a World of Words.

I promised y’all I would do this at least every other week, so here I am.

What are you currently reading?

Nothing but short stories. It’s mid-term season and the exam for Science Fiction is next week, so we’ve been taking a break from novels. I decided not to put Dear Haiti, Love Alaine here because I haven’t picked it up in a while. I’m hoping to finish it over Spring Break (only three weeks away).

What did you recently finish reading?

The Martian by Andy Weir

The Martian by Andy Weir

This book exceeded my expectations. I listened to most of it on Youtube, which helped a whole lot with getting through the space jargon. The plot itself was so creative and I loved Mark Watney.

What do you think you’ll read next?

*Pulls out Syllabi*

Nature Poem by Tommy Pico

I’ll be reading this for my Literature and Environment class. It’s a pretty skinny book so I should be through with it in a couple hours.

Nothing from Sci-Fi? We’re taking a break from novels and just reading short stories until after Spring Break. I’m so excited for the break, I honestly need it.

Have your read either of these?

How is your week going?
