WWW Wednesday #3

WWW Wednesday is a meme that was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived by Sam of Taking on a World of Words.

I actually meant to do one of these last week, but as you probably know by now because of every one of my other posts, school and work are keeping me busy. Sometimes it feels like a miracle when I get the DTH and Top 5 Tuesday posts out on time.

That being said, I’m not giving up on WWW Wednesday. I even made a new blog banner for it so y’all know I’m serious.

Now onto the questions.

What are you currently reading?

Dear Haiti, Love Alaine

Dear Haiti, Love Alaine by Maika Moulite and Maritza Moulite

This is currently on hold until I get through my upcoming essay, exams, and finish the novels for Science Fiction. Yes, we are reading full novels for my Science Fiction class in the first month. Speaking of which.

What did you recently finish reading?

The War of the Worlds

The War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
by Philip K. Dick

Yes, I completed both of my required readings for Science Fiction. I listened to them as audiobooks so that helped a lot with finishing on time. Most of my other books for this class are physical copies since I couldn’t find the audiobooks on the CloudLibrary app, so I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get through those just as easily.

What do you think you’ll read next?

The Martian

The Martian by Andy Weir

Like I said earlier this year, I plan on actually reading The Martian this time around. I remember getting a hundred or so pages in the first time and then stopping so this time I’ll push through. I actually couldn’t find a library version of the audiobook because it’s only available on Audible and I don’t have a subscription. I’m honestly thinking of getting a free trial just so I can get it because I need to read it this year.

That’s all I have to say this week.

Have you read any of these books?

How was your week?

      1. Sci-fi is not my go-to when it comes to book and I needed the right mood to read it. When I read The Martian, I was in a weird sci-fi mood so I enjoyed the book. haha..
