Top 5 Tuesday – TOP 5 BOOKS I NEED TO READ IN 2020!

I’m happy to be back for Top 5 Tuesday. That October slump really got me last year, but this year I plan on persevering.

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Shannah of Bionic Book Worm. It’s all good vibes and good times and if you’re on the fence about joining, just try it out!

Also, if you want to use this cool graphic I made, please let me know. I’ve been having a lot of fun making these.

I’m sure I could’ve added well over a 100 books to this list, but seeing as I don’t have the time to get through that many, here’s five. (Click the titles to be sent to the Goodreads pages)

The Martian by Andy Weir

The Martian by Andy Weir

The Martian has been in my TBR for several years now. I tried reading it early last year, but I think I’ll have to get the audiobook if I want to get through it. I think it’s really the size that’s getting to me. The Martian is one of my required readings for my sci-fi class so I’m hoping that’ll be the incentive I need to finish it.

Frankly in Love by David Yoon

There’s a movie being made for Frankly in Love and the trailer looks so cute. Also, David Yoon is Nicola Yoon‘s husband, so I’ve got to get to this ASAP.

Opposite of Always by Justin A. Reynolds

Opposite of Always was one of those books I really wanted to get to last year but I never did. I want to change that this year.

On the Come Up by Angie Thomas

I’m kind of mad at myself for not reading On the Come Up yet. I love Angie Thomas and her writing is golden, whether it’s a full novel or an Instagram caption.

Genesis Begins Again by Alicia D. Williams

Genesis Begins Again by Alicia D. Williams

I’ve had Genesis Begins Again in my Goodreads TBR for over a year. I really want to read it but I never see it at my library.

Have you read any of these books?

Do you have these on your TBR?

What would you put on this list?

Let me know in the comments below, let’s chat!
