What Did I Miss?

I’ve been gone for a little while and I wanted to catch up. But first: Cue Daveed Diggs!

So, last week I went on a vacation to Haiti. I finally got to see the city where my mother grew up. We stayed with my grandma and went to a gorgeous beach.

Moulin Sur Mer Beach and Resort, Saint Marc, Haiti
Moulin Sur Mer was absolutely magnificant.

The trip was a little over a week long and I did miss a day of classes, so this week I’ve been trying to catch up and figure out how I’ll be balancing my schedule. Now that I’m in my second year of college, I’ve started to get into the groove of things.

This trip was so much fun, but the lack of reliable internet in Haiti kept me from keeping up with my favorite blogs. This is a call to action. I’m challenging you to post a link below to your site and your favorite post from the past two weeks. Even if I don’t follow you, let’s make this a community thing.

And while you’re here, make sure to check out my second blog: Don’t Get it Twisted.

What did you enjoy most about August?

How was your summer?
