*Review*

I got the chance to hear J. R. Rivera speak at my school’s Urban Male Initiative Institute. It was open to all students and an adviser had suggested I to go. I really enjoyed the session and the book was given out to students in our goodie bags. His talk was a call to action, one that I was willing to take on.

I enjoyed the book and I feel like it did give me many solid points to take action in my own life. It’s also really short so I got through it in about an hour. I think I’ll go forward more focused after reading What’s Eating Up Your Time? I feel like before reading it, I was wasting a lot of time on some unnecessary things. I liked how the book was interactive and it had places to write in what you’ve been doing wrong and how you can change it.

Overall, I’d give this a 4.5/5 stars.
