What’s Eating Up Your Time?: The Full 24 (Book Review)

* Goodreads Synopsis*

Do you often feel like you are running out of time?

Do you feel like there is never enough time in your day?

What if you could kidnap hours and hold them hostage for your dreams as ransom?

In this book, you will discover unique ways to master your time and become effective with your most precious resource, “Time.” You’re wasting time, “Now” start reading.

JR Rivera is a motivational speaker and author who has been able to help thousands of people defeat procrastination and take control of their time. Now, it’s time for him to share his effective secrets to supplement your appetite for success.

I got the chance to hear J. R. Rivera speak at my school’s Urban Male Initiative Institute. It was open to all students and an adviser had suggested I to go. I really enjoyed the session and the book was given out to students in our goodie bags. His talk was a call to action, one that I was willing to take on.

I enjoyed the book and I feel like it did give me many solid points to take action in my own life. It’s also really short so I got through it in about an hour. I think I’ll go forward more focused after reading What’s Eating Up Your Time? I feel like before reading it, I was wasting a lot of time on some unnecessary things. I liked how the book was interactive and it had places to write in what you’ve been doing wrong and how you can change it.

Overall, I’d give this a 4.5/5 stars.
