Two for Tuesday – Superheroes and Bonus Sisters

Two for Tuesday is something I try to keep up with every week here on my blog. It can be used to review anything, from children’s books to makeup products. If you’d like to join in posting Two for Tuesdays, just comment on this post here.

superhero harry.pngHarry is a bit messy and a lot clumsy. But he truly believes he is a superhero. He constantly leaves messes and chaos in his wake, yet he still manages to make every situation better. So who’s to say he isn’t a superhero? This comical early chapter book series will prove that having a positive attitude and energetic spirit are just as heroic as fighting evil villains.

This was a really cute collection of short chapter books for elementary school age children. There was a lesson taught at the end of each story and the loose ends are all tied up. Harry was a really sweet character that I think kids will really like.

“Squishy” Taylor has recently moved in with her father and step-family, or as her father puts it, Bonus family. She meets an unexpected friend and begins trying to unravel the mystery behind why he’s sleeping in the apartment garage.

I really liked reading about Squishy. The family dynamics were great and it’s a great story for kids who are adjusting to a newly blended family.
